A two day national workshop on “Pedagogy in Transition: Changing Classroom Dynamics” was organised by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of St Ann’s College for Women, Mehdipatnam on Friday.

The first session “Liberating teachers and teaching - creating an open and participatory learning space” was focused on how a few southern states where open and collaborative learning has created new opportunities for teachers to share their ideas and thoughts, on teaching methods and practices, on a virtual platform.

The speaker urged teachers to move away from modes of traditional teaching and harness the power of technology to connect, create resources and motivate students in the classroom.

The second session was a hands-on training session where participants were taken through the whole process of developing e-content including script writing, recording, and editing.

The participants were also briefed about the evolution of technology and its implications for education.
