HYDERABAD: Lok Satta and Congress on Sunday stepped up their agitation against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision to construct Telangana Kalabharathi auditorium at the NTR stadium. They staged a protest along with locals in the area and demanded that the decision be withdrawn.
“The NTR stadium is the result of a lot of struggle,” said Congress leader M Kodanda Reddy. He pointed out that even the Supreme Court had earlier ruled out constructions at the stadium. Lok Satta leader Jayaprakash Narayan termed the government decision meaningless.
