Yoga Guru to Beauty Queen

HYDERABAD: Proving her mettle, a fitness and yoga expert by profession and mother of one, Mansi Gulati has won Mrs India-Asia International 2015 title at the pageant held Pune.

“This is a great achievement for me,” says the 28-year-old, who competed with 34 participants from across the county. 

Talking about her preparation, Mansi says, “I took the title seriously from the time I enrolled myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the process – I revamped myself, grew and won the title.”

Proving true the age-old adge ‘there  is no shortcut to success’ this single mother has had to face challenges too. “It is tough to survive in this world as a single mother. I can’t forget the days when I would pray to get a few additional hours with my daughter,” recalls the social worker.

The wining question

The question that won Mansi the title was what would she do if she won the title. She replied, “As I am a single parent and also associated with a cause, Vajra, where women are taught self defence, I will dedicate my life to every women who needs me. ”

The face yoga exponent aims to take her yoga style to international level. “In today’s world we are craving for mental peace. This absence is making our lives vulnerable and miserable too. Yoga mindfulness helps people to peep into their inner self, and thus help in balancing their personal and professional life.
