Bear Escapes From Enclosure at Hyderabad Zoo

HYDERABAD: Bahadurpura residents had tensed moments on Monday night when a Bear at Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, escaped from its enclosure and scaled a wall.

Panicked at the sight of bear, they immediately called up Police , who alerted the zoo officials. The zoo officials along with the veterinary team launched an operation late in the night to catch the bear which was on the run. Till the reports came in last, the bear was not captured.

It was only in the month of August-2015, when a tiger jumped over an enclosure in the zoo. All visitors in the zoo were evacuated, and the Tiger was sedated and captured.
