Lamakaan Closure Notice Withdrawn

HYDERABAD:  Lamakaan, a haven for the city’s art lovers, has survived the storm of closure notice issued by GHMC.

After much hullabaloo and people’s outrage on social media for the last two-days, officials discussed the issue with Lamakaan founder Ashhar Farhan and decided to withdraw the closure notice. The talks were held at Lamakaan. A decision was reached was reached over new parking arrangements at the artists’ corner.

The parking space of Jalagam Vengala Rao Park will be used for four-wheeler parking. Lamakaan will issue a public notice for the new parking arrangements.
