HMR MD NVS Reddy's tenure extended

HYDERABAD: Satisfied with the progress of Hyderabad Metro Rail project works, the state government has extended the services of HMR managing director NVS Reddy for a period of one year with effect from Thursday.

The municipal administration and urban development department issued orders stating despite being one of the largest Metro Rail projects in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode in the world and first of its kind PPP Metro project in the country, Hyderabad Metro Rail project made good progress with 63 percent in the last four years.

NVS Reddy as the MD of the project successfully tackled various contentious issues satisfactorily.
