The Week-Hansa research Best Universities survey 2016 was conducted by collecting factual information from more than 500 leading Universities in India. 217 academic experts, across 20 cities were asked to nominate and rank top Universities. Nine qualitative in-depth interviews were done among these experts to validate the collected data and to provide the rationale for ranking.
Various parameters including Age and Accreditation, infrastructure and other facilities, intellectual resource, research, student quality, alumni and industry exposure, and placements were used to calculate the factual score. The composite score has been arrived at by combining the perceptual and the factual scores to determine the final rank for each University.
The overall result of the survey will be published in the Week magazine issue dated May 29, 2016.
