Anticipatory bail plea of Chandana Bros rejected

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad High Court on Friday dismissed the anticipatory bail petition filed by Chandana Mohan Rao and his brother Jana Rama Rao of Chandana Brothers against whom a case was registered at Nagarampalem police station in Guntur district.

Last month, Guntur police registered the case against them based on a complaint lodged by K Phaneendra, son of former minister Kanna Laxminarayana, who alleged that the followers of Chandana Brothers management had threatened him and tried to attack him. Apprehending arrest, the two brothers moved the High Court seeking anticipatory bail.

After hearing the case, Justice Suresh Kumar Kait dismissed the petition. It was reported that Jana Rama Rao and Phaneendra had a business dispute regarding a venture called Balaji Art Prints.
