HYDERABAD: Denying growing intolerance in the country, M Rama Raju, VHP state president has said that India’s secularistic nature is taking a blow not because of Hindus but Muslims in the country.
He was speaking to mediapersons after announcing Bajrang Dal youth wing’s state level meeting between August 18 and 20 here on Saturday. On the last day, a public meeting will be addressed by Pravin Togadia, international president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), at Patel Ganshyam Bhavan.
The concept of Love-Jihad, attacks of Hindu youth and Hindus at large in the country, the ongoing Indo-China standoff at Doklam, resistance in using Chinese goods, Muslim reservation in Telangana among other things will be discussed and strategies to deal with the same will be laid out.
Rama Raju also stressed that the growing intolerance that people have been complaining about is being constructed by various other political parties. On the other hand, VHP will ensure that patriotism is inculcated among the children in the Indian society.
“We came to know that some schools in Old City have not been encouraging children to sing the national anthem. We will write to the government to ensure that all schools inculcate love for the country among children,” he added.
