HYDERABAD: While calling upon the members of the legal fraternity to rededicate themselves for strengthening judicial institutions, Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan on Thursday stressed the need of providing financial support to lawyers coming from deprived sections during their initial few years of practise.

Justice Ranganathan was addressing a gathering after unfurling the tricolour on the High Court premises. The ACJ, said there was a need to address the ‘lack of enthusiasm’ in women joining the Bar in more numbers. “We now have three women judges in High Court which is the highest ever since its establishment.
