HYDERABAD: Even as the investigation into the alleged suicide of a beautician in Hyderabad hinted at the Kukunoorpally sub-inspector P Prabhakar Reddy misbehaving with the woman, which the police claim forced the SI to end his life, it was learnt that the SI was under tremendous pressure from his seniors.
Prabhakar Reddy was allegedly cornered for small issues and he was even served around 15 memos by seniors.

It was also learnt that unable to bear the harassment by some officials, Prabhakar Reddy was making efforts to get a transfer from Kukunoorpally police station. Senior officials probing Reddy’s suicide, however, contended that the SI was at fault for inviting Sirisha and her friends Rajiv and Sravan Kumar to settle the private dispute.

Prabhakar Reddy, initially wanted his friend and SI of Banjara Hills to settle the issue but later intervened in the case. Meanwhile, Sangareddy Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) N Tirupatanna, who is investigating the SI suicide case, is likely to submit a report to DGP Anurag Sharma.
