Only degree holders to drive RTC for GES

From our online archive

HYDERABAD: Clean shaven, dressed in ironed clothes, degree-holding drivers who can understand and communicate in English would be driving TSRTC’s AC buses carrying delegates of Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) from November 28-30.  Over 1,200 delegates are expected to attend the summit to be held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Cyberabad.

Since delegates from other countries too would be part of the summit, TSRTC officials have selected drivers who can understand Hindi and English, and who can manage to speak in the languages. Just to ensure there will be no communication problem, their language skills will be brushed and basic etiquette on receiving the delegates would be taught to them.
