HYDERABAD: A day after five persons, including three women and a two-year-old boy, were found dead under mysterious circumstances near Outer Ring Road (ORR) at Narsingi, the prelimnary postmortem examination report has suggested suicide.

Considering other circumstantial evidences, police are under the assumption that Prabhakar Reddy might have murdered four others by offering them softdrinks laced with poison before ending his own life.
Investigators on Wednesday visited Patolla Prabhakar Reddy’s residence at Ashoknagar in Chandanagar and recovered his mobile phone and laptop. His call data records were examined. Interestingly, the mobile phones of Prabhakar Reddy’s wife, Ravinder Reddy’s wife were missing from the spot.

Narsingi inspector G V Ramana Goud corroborated, based on preliminary PME report, said that all five died after consumption of soft drinks laced with poison. “We have collected CCTV footage on the route and identified the place where Prabhakar purchased poison and soft drinks. It is suspected that he might have made the others to drink soft drinks laced with poison and later committed suicide,’’ police said.
The police said the bodies were found at two different places. “We will investigate why the bodies were lying at two different places at a distance of at least one kilometre and why Prabhakar could have taken such an extreme step. We also collected details about his financial transactions as he was doing online trade business. We have questioned Ravinder Reddy and Prabhakar’s family members in connection with the incident.”
