HYDERABAD: While assuring that the body of their son, Sharath Koppu, is brought back to the city as soon as possible, deputy chief minister Kadiam Srihari, IT minister KT Rama Rao, cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya met with parents Rammohan and Malathi, and expressed their condolences on Sunday.
IT minister KT Rama Rao said that the CM, K Chandrasekhar Rao too expressed his condolences. “As it may take a while for the body to reach here, we told the family members that in case they wish to fly to the US, the state will arrange for emergency visas and also bear the expenses,” said KTR.
Meanwhile, the local police at Kansas City have offered $10,000 to those who identify the killer. Sharath’s cousin, Raghu Chowdavaram created a GoFundMe account to raise money for in Sharath’s name to return his body to Hyderabad and it raised more than $50,000 by Sunday.
