14th edition of Fashion Yatra featured 70 Indian designers

Fashion Yatra, the annual fashion expo by entrepreneur Kamin Saraf, was all about creativity. The 14th edition of the event which took place at Taj Krishna on Tuesday featured designer garments, jewellery and lifestyle products from all over India.  About 70 designers from across the country participated and showcased their creations.

It is a Fashion event with a purpose, a cause. The proceeds of the Fashion Yatra will go to ‘Teach for Change’ – an initiative for educating underprivileged students.  Over 2,000 exhibitors were featured in the last 13 years. The event showcased designs by Shakun; Fashion for the ‘Young-Gen’ catered to by Pink Feathers, Posh-Tots & All Things Fancy; traditional and contemporary jewellery by Krsala, and Jewel Saga.

There were silver artefacts and accessories from Ekaani by Karishma Jain & Crescent - A Silver Experience was also displayed. Ekaani offers a range of Worldwide Limited Editions of Indian God figures and idols. They are a fusion of porcelain, 92.5 per cent sterling silver, brass, 24-carat gold and Swarovski crystals. Everything from clothes, jewellery, bags, footwear, home décor, rakhis, gift items, etc were showcased.
