Man hacked to death by neighbour in Hyderabad

Amer collapsed on the road after sustaining grievous injuries. Alerted by locals, police rushed to the spot and shifted him to Osmania General Hospital.

HYDERABAD: A 37-year-old auto driver was hacked to death in broad daylight by his neighbour over personal enmity at Singareni Colony under Saidabad police station limits on Tuesday morning. The deceased was identified as Amer.

According to police, Amer and his neighbour Suman had been involved in a long-standing dispute. On Tuesday morning, when Amer was passing by Suman’s house, the latter allegedly came out with a sickle and attacked him.

Amer collapsed on the road after sustaining grievous injuries. Alerted by locals, police rushed to the spot and shifted him to Osmania General Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Saidabad police registered a murder case and launched a search for the absconding accused, Suman.
