KOCHI: WiComet-2011, a three-day international seminar on the recent advances in the field of Wireless Technology, Networks and Mobile Computing, began on Monday at Toc H Institute of Science and Technology (TIST), Arakkunnam.  

The seminar was inaugurated by Ramachandran Thekkedath, Vice Chancellor of CUSAT.

P J Joseph, President of Toc H Group of Educational Institutions; K Varghese, founder director and manager of Toc H Group of Educational Institutions; V Job Kuruvilla, director of Toc H Institute of Science and Technology and Justus Rabi, Principal of Toc H Institute of Science and Technology also participated in the inaugural function.

Academicians, educationalists, industrialists, PG and UG scholars, research scholars, and faculty from various engineering colleges will be participating in the seminar jointly organised by the Electronics & Communication, Computer Science & Information technology Departments of Toc H Engineering College.

The three day seminar will end on September 28.
