I am against the policy of a cleaner standing at the front door of the private bus who rings the bell continuously and forces the driver to speed. This prompts the driver to do his job without any presence of mind leading to fatal accidents. Speeding of buses are common during early mornings and late nights as there is no traffic during these hours. Any passenger who reacts will get offended. The private bus employees are least bothered about the commuters’ safety. And, the police are not able to rein in careless drivers.
And, the young drivers are least bothered about traffic rules. For them, speeding is a thrilling event. They dont even care for children as they start the bus the very same moment the passenger steps in.
Besides, this is a insult for the whole society. These people give no importance to the law and order of Indian Judiciary.

Cancel the Licence
The crew of the ‘red killers’ in the city are a law unto themselves, definitely, and the citizens have had enough of them. In case of an accident involving them, the licence of the driver (if he has one, for many drivers are minors, according to the bus owners themselves) must be cancelled. He must be charged with manslaughter and grievous hurt.
The menacing cleaners and conductors who take part in the ‘death races’ must also be brought to justice.
If not, the public themselves must be given the right to manhandle them on the site of the accident itself before they can get away. Lastly, the hand-in-glove nexus between the police and bus operators must be checked on a war-footing
