The creativity and skills of Kendriya  Vidyalaya students across the state were showcased at the Regional Social Science Exhibition which was inaugurated by Ranvir Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Ernakulam Region, at KV auditorium, Kadavanthra, on Monday.

The theme focused on the role of social development and the contributions made by cultures of Sikkim and Myanmar to mankind. Presentations were made on various social issues like pollution and public distribution system.

Paintings and models on the development and contributions of Sikkim and Myanmar were  displayed.

Various cultural contests including group dance on the same theme threw light on the cultures of both the lands.

Contest in songs on national integration, quiz and debate were also held. Skits based on social issues such as corruption and gender discrimination grabbed the attention of viewers and added on to the success of this event.  The expo was a platform for the students to showcase their talents.
