MLA asked to retract statement

C G Rajagopal, convener of the BJP Language Minority Cell, has asked P C Vishnunath MLA to retract his statement that participating in the Sree Krishna Jayanti Shobhayatras organised by Balagokulam make fundamentalists. The BJP leader has also demanded an apology from him. Rajagopal wanted Vishnunath to make it clear whether Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is also a fundamentalist as he too had inaugurated a Shobhayatra at Puthuppally, in 2005. Rajagopal claimed that Balagokulam is the only children’s organisation which was given membership by the United Nations while it selected the associations working for the betterment of kids.
