A 59-year-old man died in an accident on Sunday after the car in which he was travelling collided with a lorry at Cherthala. The deceased is John J Panhikkaran, Varanad House in Cherthala. The body has been kept at the hospital mortuary and will be handed over to the relatives after postmortem examination on Monday.
