KOCHI: His paintings speak volumes on the child prodigy he was. And, to show the world his talent, the Biennale organisers have decided to display his work of art, something unusual for a six-year old, at Children’s Biennale.

Edmund Thomas Clint, who was christened after actor Clint Eastwood, was born in Kochi in 1976 to parents M T Joseph and Chinnamma Joseph. He started drawing at the tender age of six months and continued to paint at least 25,000 works till his death in 1983.

Clint had often sketched paintings of fictional and religious characters, from stories he had heard of and known.

His parents say they never had to  push him to draw and his work was a product of his passion.   Several memorial painting  competitions have been held in Clint’s name.
