The Kerala Congress (Nationalist) party [KC(N)] will support the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Lok Sabha elections, said the party leaders at a press conference here on Friday.
The KC(N) was formed by those who had resigned from the Kerala Congress (M) [KC(M)]. KC(N) state secretariat member Kuruvila Mathews said that the KC(M) has become a private limited company and it should be dismissed as it had lost significance.
“The party has cheated the farmers in the state. Now the party leaders have become the protectors of the quarry lobby and even quarry owners. The NDA has fielded candidates in all the constituencies in the state. In the coming days, more people from the KC(M) will join the KC(N),” Kuruvila Mathews said.
