KOCHI: A three-day UGC sponsored national conference on Mathematics will be organised at Bharata Mata College, Thrikkakkara, from Thursday to Saturday.
There will be classes and discussions on ‘Recent Trends in Applicable Mathematics’ in the meet organised by the Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Mathematics Department, in collaboration with the Kerala Mathematical Association.
Nearly 150 mathematicians and research students will participate. Around 30 papers on recent trends in applicable Mathematics will be presented, said Rosa M V, convenor, and K O Peter, Head of the department.
