Sobha City Mall Opened in Thrissur

KOCHI:  Sobha Limited has forayed into commercial space by launching ‘Sobha City Mall' at Sobha City in Thrissur. The company plans to build another Mall in Bengaluru in two years, company chairman Ravi Menon has said.

He added that it took four years to complete the project.  With an investment of `170 crore, Sobha City Mall has a built-up area of approximately 4.5 lakh sqft. The six screen multiplex by INOX will be operational soon. 

"The Sobha City Mall will provide around 2,000 direct and indirect jobs to the local people. The mall will have over 100 brands. Our mall in Bengaluru will be on St Mark's Road and will have a space of 4 lakh sqft. The facility is expected to be ready in two years," said Ravi Menon.

Sobha Limited has ongoing residential projects aggregating to 40.27 million sqft of developable area and 28.27 million sqft of saleable area and ongoing contractual projects aggregating to 9.08 million sqft under various stages of the construction.

The company has presence in Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Chennai, Pune, Coimbatore, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Kochi and Mysuru, said vice-chairman and managing director J C Sharma.
