KOCHI:A four-day ‘Yajur Veda Mahayajnam’ will be held at Pattupuraykkal Devi Temple at Kaloor here from Thursday under the aegis of Arjitha Brahmana Sabha.
T D P Namboothiri, the head of Chengannur Mantrika Vidyapeedam, will be the chief priest at the ‘Yajnam’. Brahmapadananda Swami, the head of Sree Ramadasa Mission will inaugurate the proceedings at the temple at 4.30 pm. The ‘Yajur Veda Yajnam’ will begin at 8 am on Friday. Seers and ‘Veda’ experts will participate in the ‘yajnam’, which will end on Sunday afternoon, the organisers informed.
