KOCHI: The sports day of Vidyadhiraja Vidyabhavan Senior Secondary School was inaugurated by Mini Eldho, Nedumbassery panchayat president. Jyothish Kumar Panchavadi, PTA chairman, panchayat vice president Somasekharan, municipal councillor Saji Varghese and P R N Kurup, secretary, Geetha Bhavan Trust were present. Mohan Mathew, principal, presided. In the closing ceremony, Lt Col Raj Narayan (commanding officer 22 - Kerala Battalion, NCC Eloor), captain K S Narayana (NCC officer, UC College, Aluva) gave away the prizes. Nearly 550 students participated.
