KOCHI: The Provident Fund Pensioners’ Association (PFPA) will take out a protest march to Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram on February 28 as part of nationwide agitations demanding pension revision.
“Around 50 lakh EPF pensioners in the country do not even get Rs 100 as pension.

The meagre pension amount has not been increased, as there is no dearness allowance,” the association leaders said in a press release. The leaders have demanded a minimum pension of Rs 3,500 and dearness allowance. The march will begin from Museum Junction and will be inaugurated by R Chandrasekharan, INTUC state president.
