KOCHI: On the occasion of World Chocolate Day, Kochi Marriott hotel gave a chocolaty treat to people who gathered at their Great Room.The event was held at 11 am on July 7.
The pastry team headed by Chef Manikandan featured different types of dark, white and milk chocolates. The event was inaugurated by actor Dinesh Prabhakar by cutting a chocolate cake.
The menu included Chocolate hazelnut mousse, Milk chocolate with orange cake, White chocolate with strawberry mousse, white forest cake, Grandma bitter chocolate cake, chocolate éclair, coconut chocolate dry cake and dark chocolate aniseed tart.
Live cake-making was also part of the programme. Different cake varieties like Soft center chocolate cake with (homemade vanilla ice cream), Hot chocolate walnut brownie with (homemade vanilla ice cream)along with an array of Homemade chocolate with Kerala spices was a highlight.
