KOCHI: To achieve success in life, one should possess a strong passion towards one’s field of interest, said actor Tovino Thomas speaking after inaugurating the Educational Award distribution function organised by Hibi Eden MLA here on Sunday.“We should record our name in history with our good deeds which will make people remember us even after our time,” he said.
About 1,000 students from 57 schools who scored high marks in SSLC, Plus Two, CBSE and ICSE examinations received awards at the function in St Teresa’s College auditorium.
Also, 32 schools which secured a 100 per cent result in examinations were honoured at the function. Sidharth B, who got the 15th rank in the civil services examination, Rajasree Praveen who was elected to attend the World Women leadership meet in Washington and those who secured ranks at the university level were also honoured.This is the sixth time the event is being hosted in Ernakulam, Hibi said.
