Group expo at White Walls for Women’s Day

KOCHI:The White Walls Art Gallery at South Janata Road, Palarivattom, will present a group exhibition featuring the works of eight prominent women  artist, as part of Women’s Day celebrations. The show titled ‘Next’ will run till March 26. The exhibition has been curated by Anoop Kamath.

Eight artists featured in the show are Sayaka Arase (Delhi/Japan), Ushmita  Sahu (Santiniketan), Ruchika W Singh (Delhi), Manmeet Devgun (Delhi),  Megha Joshi (Delhi),  Shilpa Mayenkar (Goa),  Ritu Kamath (Delhi) and  Parul Sinha (Delhi).

Many of their works explore unconventional painting techniques such as soft   pastel, graphite, tracing paper, acrylic, polyester satin, organza, silk thread, thread, Sumi-e ink and chinese painting colour.

This is white Walls Gallery’s 9th Exhibition and the work selected have exceptional techniques such as multi layered paintings using mixed medium.
