Thailand, Holland calling for five fisheries scholars of Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies

The scholarships are awarded by International Veterinary Vaccinology Network, which covers all expenses related to attending the five-day workshop in Holland.

KOCHI: Five research fellows of Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) have been selected for visiting research fellowships in Thailand and Netherlands. Biochemistry research students with the Department of Fish Processing Technology Amitha Kurian, Parvathy Prakash and Prasitha Bhat have been selected for the Thailand research fellow exchange programme.

They will work with the scientist team of Chiang Mai University in Thailand for three months, starting in the first week of July.

Biochemistry Research Scholars with the Department of Fish processing Technology Akashdeep Singh and Rubeena Anish have been selected for the Netherlands scholarships for participating in the 19th Fish Immunology Workshop, to be held in Wageningen University from April 29 to May 3.

The scholarships are awarded by International Veterinary Vaccinology Network, which covers all expenses related to attending the five-day workshop in Holland.
