PM’s visit: Traffic curbs in Kochi on March 11

KOCHI: The city police have announced traffic restrictions in the city from 11 am to 4 pm on Wednesday in view of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kochi.

Curb will be enforced in areas including Naval Base Kochi, Thevara, MG Road, Atlantis Junction, Ravipuram, Pallimukku, Jose Junction, BTH Road, Park Avenue Road, Shanmugham Road, Marine Drive, High Court Junction, Banerjee Road, Kacheripady, Kaloor, and Palarivattom.

Traffic will also be regulated along Cheranalloor–Vyttila stretch and the Kalamassery–Edappally route.

  • Adequate parking arrangements also made for vehicles arriving for NDA programme being organised at Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium in Kaloor. Parking areas include Government Polytechnic Kalamassery, ITI Kalamassery, Vamanamoorthy Temple premises in Thrikkakara, Cardinal School Thrikkakara, Boys High School Ground Tripunithura, Puthiyakavu Temple Ground Tripunithura, Pay-and-Park Ground opposite Tripunithura Municipality, Sree Venkiteswari High School Mini Bypass Tripunithura, Sanskrit School Ground Tripunithura, and Girls High School Ground Tripunithura.
