THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An elocution competition on ‘Why do we need voluntary blood donation’ for college students, higher secondary students and high school students will be organised on October 1 at Vyloppilli Samskrithi Bhavan.
A poster competition on blood donation for college students, higher secondary students and high school students also will be held. Those who intend to participate in the poster competition should bring the paper and painting materials. A slogan competition on promotional blood donation messages will also be held for these categories.
There will be no registration fee and lunch will be provided at the venue for the participants. Those who would like to participate in the above competitions should register with the Public Relations Officer, Terumo Penpol Limited at telephone number 3015602 in between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on or before September 26, 2009.
