PATHANAMTHITTA: Two persons, Sugathan, 32, and his niece Praveena, 17, were killed, and five others were injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided head on with a private bus at Vadasserikkara at 6 pm on Saturday.
Of the injured, the condition of one is reported to be serious and has been admitted to Kottayam Medical College Hospital. The accident occurred when a speeding bus bound for Tiruvalla from Vadasserikara hit the jeep which was coming from Pathanamthitta to Vadasserikara.
