THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Those co-operative employees who have not been able to take membership in the Kerala State Co-operative Employees Welfare Board till now can now get fresh memberships without any arrears, said Welfare Board vice-chairman G Sugunan.

 He said this while inaugurating the meeting of the representatives of the various unions of the co-operative employees in the state.

He said that this facility had been announced in connection with the golden jubilee of the Board and that it would be available till April 30. He also said that there would be huge increase in various allowances and benefits given by the Welfare Board.

  Welfare Board members M N Gopala Panicker and Charles Antony, board secretary C M Ajay Mohan and trade union leaders Madhusoodanan Nair, Joshua, Mohanan, Haneefa Munniyoor, Chandrababu and R Ramachandran Nair also spoke at the meeting.
