Syndicate members’ meet on Tuesday

The Syndicate members meet to be held on Tuesday will discuss the Hridayakumari Committee report on reforms in the Choice-based Credit and Semester System (CBCSS) for undergraduate courses, including giving marks instead of grades.

The Kerala State Higher Education Council is holding the meeting, which will be attended by syndicate members of Kerala, Kannur, Calicut, Mahatma Gandhi, Kochi and Sanskrit Universities.  Around 90 syndicate members will be attending the meet. Education minister P K Abdu Rabb will be also present.

Apart from the Hridayakumari Committee report, the other issues that will be taken up during the meet include Institution-industry linkage, State Assessment and Accreditation Council, University Laws and Self Financing Colleges.
