Malayalis must present a strong united front and come out in support of the ‘Viswa Malayala Mahotsavam’ to make a success of it, said Kazhakkoottam Najmudeen, Deseeya Malayala Vedi president. He said this while inaugurating ‘Kerala Piravi Sandesha Sammelanam’ and a get-together of student talents in the city on Tuesday.

Poet Surekha L, Vedi treasurer Tirumala Satyadas and Velliman Pangode were among those who spoke at the function.

The three-day ‘Viswa Malayala Mahotsavam’, which is expected to provide a platform for debates and dialogue on the literature, art and culture of Kerala,  will be inaugurated by President Pranab Mukherjee on October 30 at 10.30 am at University Senate Hall.
