GATE Forum Educational Services Ltd has felicitated six of its top scorers in GATE 2013 who secured all-India ranks within the top hundred.
In a well-attended function held in Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School here the, Chief guest former minister M Vijayakumar gave away prizes to the toppers. He spoke on the need to improve the quality of higher education in the country and felt that students should update their personal skills to keep abreast with in an ever-increasing competitive scenario.
Dr A C Mathew of GATE Forum pointed out that the GATE exam is getting tougher with every passing year. Only a comprehensive, structured preparation for GATE with special emphasis on strengthening basics and improving test skills will bring in the desired results, he added.
