The birth centenary celebration of noted poet M P Appan will be held at VJT hall on Thursday which will be inaugurated by Cultural Minister K C Joseph.
Kerala Sahitya Academy president Perumbadavam Sreedharan will preside over the function. R Ramachandran Nair will be the chief guest.
A seminar will be held at 11 am in which D Benjamin will deliver the key note address.
A poets meet will be held in the evening which will be inaugurated by poet Sugathakumari.
