The book ‘Netaji Deshasnehiyaya Rashtrathalavan’, written by Akkavila Salim was selected for the Dr Ambedkar National Literary Award 2013 instituted by the Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Academy.
The award consists of a cash prize of Rs 25,552, a plaque and a certificate.
The award will be distributed at a ceremony to be held in New Delhi on December 12 and 13.
Academy national secretary B Jayachandran announced the award winner at a press meet held here on Tuesday. Vellayani Arjunan and M M Karim were also present.
