Literary Award for T Padmanabhan

Writer T Padmanabhan has been selected for the C V Kunhuraman Literary Award for his contributions to Malayalam language and literature.

Writer T Padmanabhan has been selected for the C V Kunhuraman Literary Award for his contributions to Malayalam language and literature. The award is instituted by C V Kunhuraman Foundation and carries a cash prize of Rs 10,001, a citation and a statuette designed by B D Dathan.

A panel comprising Prabha Varma, R Parvathi Devi and C S Venkiteswaran selected Padmanabhan for the award. “With his original contributions, Padmanabhan raised Malayalam litarture to new planes of experience,” the panel said.
