THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The National Literary and Environment Organisation (NLEO) organised a Quit India Remembrance Meet. Inaugurating the event, NLEO president Safwana said that the country has begun to forget the meaning of “freedom, which we earned through sacrifice, and secularism, which is the soul of India.” The poet also said that we should protect freedom and secularism at any cost. Surekha L presided over. Poets Kallayam Mohan, Remya Ananthapuri, Das S M , Karakulam Sugathan and Shamnad J also spoke on the occasion.
