THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Legislature sub-committee led by Thomas Unniyadan has found that there has been no planning or scientific study before sanctioning of the new Plus-Two batches.
Referring to the issue, Unniyadan said here that they had received 42 complaints with regard to the allotment of news Plus II schools and batches.
Higher Secondary Director and General Education Secretary attended the sitting and apprised the panel of the details about the allotment of Plus-Two schools and batches.
He said the allotment of new batches could have been avoided.
The panel found that government was unnecessarily incurring expense worth crores of rupees in this regard.
