THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala launched a mobile application on Tuesday “as a platform for the people to communicate with him, lodge complaints, put forward suggestions and to share opinions.’’

 The mobile application, which could be downloaded as ‘Ramesh Chennithala’ through Android Playstore, is being launched by the minister on his completion of one year in office as home minister which falls on January 1.

“The people can fix appointment with me if needed which will be allowed based on the daily schedule. Those who put forward valuable suggestions will be able to meet me directly.

The people will be free to share their views on various projects and initiatives of the Home Department as well as on policing,’’ the minister said.

Security Beefed up  Security across the state has tightened against the backdrop of the Bangalore blast, Chennithala said.

The minister also claimed that the Crime Branch investigation on the attack on Krishna Pillai memorial was on the right track.
