The government has allocated Rs 300 crore to Local Self-Government institutions to disburse the arrears of various social welfare pensions.
The funds were allocated under the demands for supplementary grants, Finance Minister K M Mani said.
The Minister has also given directions to relax the clause making Aadhar cards mandatory for welfare pensions.
