THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has launched ‘Carefull’, a one-minute movie which throws light on issues related to alcoholism. Created by the team of Ibrahim Badusha, Manoj Kumar M and Shaji A John, CEO of Metromatinee Digital Entertainments, the film was launched in the presence of  Excise Minister K Babu at the Chief Minister’s chamber the other day.

Referring to the government’s efforts to curb alcoholism, the Chief Minister said the film could not have come at a better time.

The movie speaks about how alcoholism is eating into society and why this social menace needs to be rooted out. It portrays the effects that alcohol can have on individuals, how it extends to the family and impacts society at large.

Conceived by Ibrahim Badusha and animated and directed by Manoj Kumar, the film was produced by Shaji A John.
