Health Quiz for Students

Aimed at giving awareness to school students on major health issues in the state and their solutions, a quiz was held here as part of the ‘Arogya Tharakam’ project.  Loyola School bagged the first prize in the quiz after five rounds of competition. Government Higher Secondary School, Keezharoor and St Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom, bagged the second and third prizes respectively. Radio Health nodal officer Dr G Santosh Kumar gave away the awards.

 K Muraleedharan MLA inaugurated the competition at the Little Flower hall, Vellayambalam. Thirty-seven teams from three educational districts participated in the quiz. 

The contest was jointly organised by National Health Mission, Department of Health and Department of Education.
