The Social Forestry Wing of the Forests and Wildlife Department, along with the NCC district office, conducted a study class and seminar on environment conservation on Monday for NCC cadets participating in the annual training camp going on in the city. Films on environment awareness were screened and saplings were planted. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests B S Kori inaugurated the programme. Assistant Conservator of Forests P K Jayakumar Sharma, NCC Lieutenant Colonel Simon P J, Range Officer H T Jose and foresters Vijayan, Padmakumar and Sulaiman led the programme.
