With the aim of providing an opportunity for housewives to revive their artistic talents, the University Women’s Association and Regatta Cultural Society will launch a programme called ‘Grihanayika’ on Sunday.
The programme will be inaugurated by ADGP B Sandhya at 6.30 pm at Vyloppilly Samskrithi Bhavan, the organisers said.
“Many women had to stay away from the talents due their circumstances and responsibilities. Grihanayika celebrates these women’s endeavour to bring life to their love of dance. This year, we are celebrating this beautiful concept with the performances of these amazing women who contribute so much to their families,” said Regatta Girija, organiser and former alumni of Government College for Women here.
